The position:
As International Export/Sales Manager you are responsible for the sales of seed potatoes in a specific geographical area. The team you will be part of, focusses on countries in South America, Africa, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Central- & Southeast- Asia. You thus contribute strongly to the core activity of HZPC. You manage your own time which includes regular international traveling (think about 75 days a year). You focus on the following main tasks: 
  • Keeping an close eye on market developments, identifying new opportunitites and analyzing the competition. Based on this information you introduce new varieties. 
  • You are resonsible for all Sales acitivties in your area, for both new and existing customers. 
  • maximizing the payment security of customers and ensure that the logistics run smoothly (in coorperation with the logistic colleagues). 
  • Maintaining and building relationships with customers, distributors and agents. Relationships are for you the key to a succesfull cooporation.

Your profile:
You are creative in finding solutions and you think strategically, based on long-term plans. In addition, you work independently in this position, but at the same time you build in collaboration with the colleagues from Product Management, Sales Support, R&D and other Export/Sales managers to the joint objectives: the growth of HZPC by helping our customers to grow. You connect people and are flexible in dealing with different cultural backgrounds. In addition, you have:
  • At least a Bachelor degree example in agriculture or in marketing / commercial
  • At least 5 years of experience within the Agro sector in a similar job
  • Fluently speaking and writing English. French and/or Spanish is a plus.
